He was married to Violet Fortner Brown.

John Lewis "Luke" Queen,

born June 29, 1830 and died April 1, 1909.

He was son of John R. Queen and Mary "Polly" Coward.

He is buried in the Queen family cemetery on John's Creek Road, Cullowhee, N.C.

He was a farmer, magistrate and minister at John's Creek Baptist Church in the 1850s.

He married Lucinda Brown, daughter of John Brown, Sr. and Violet Fortner Brown.
