Jackson County in the Civil War
Welcome to our new section dealing with the Civil War. Since publication of the Jackson County Cemetery Book,
I've been thinking it would be a good idea to extract information about the
Civil War Soldiers buried in Jackson County. With that done, I decided to expand
and attempt to create a more comprehensive listing and "bio" page for each
soldier. If you have a Civil War ancestor with Jackson roots, this is an ideal
place to share his story. Obviously, this is a sizeable task that will require
the support and input of our website visitors and society members. I welcome
your ideas, pictures, Civil War letters and correspondence, and other
contributions you feel would add to the quality of these pages.
You may e-mail any info to me.
Please help me make this page a success.
